Attended by more than 600 attorneys, elected officials and child advocates at Florida International University, the Summit, hosted by state Rep. Juan-Carlos Planas and sponsored by The Children's Trust, yielded many potential pieces of legislation. After a rigorous and impassioned day of brainstorming, a top twenty "wish list" for Florida's children was presented to House Speaker Designate Marco Rubio.
