Home Visiting: Support for Growing Families, Developmental Supports
Trust-funded home-visiting programs are here to help families facing parenting challenges during their children's early years. These programs offer education and skill-building opportunities for parents. Programs offer proven services in the home, with some programs available at your child’s doctor’s office or clinic. They focus on child health, development and school readiness by nurturing parent-child relationships and ensuring safe homes. Developmental screenings are part of the programs and help parents understand important milestones and connect them with resources when needed. Select programs working with expecting and new parents also offer maternal and paternal screenings to support parents' mental health and well-being.
Family Therapy: Strengthening Family Bonds
Family behavioral health services and programs funded by The Children’s Trust provide individualized services for families with children aged 2 to 18. They offer parenting consultation, behavioral health and family therapy in the home, therapeutic settings and as needed virtually. The goal of the programs is to improve the parent-child relationship, reduce parental stress and address challenging behaviors in children and youth.
