Family Expo
By now, Miami-Dade County knows that summertime means the annual return of The Children’s Trust Family Expo, the largest, free, family resource events in our community. Just like last year, this year’s Family Expo events come with the added attraction that they will be partly indoors, with exhibitors housed in air-conditioned venues to keep children and families cool in the summer heat. Don’t worry, many of the fun-filled activities children and families have come to expect will still be outdoors to take advantage of South Florida’s energizing sunshine.
The Family Expo continues to be the best chance for families to connect with the Trust’s extensive provider network as well as other community agencies and organizations that serve them. Events are held at various locations and on different days to make sure to reach the largest number of our diverse population in Miami-Dade.
The Expo attracts thousands of visitors annually with excitement, entertainment & resources for all who attend. This year the events will take place on weekends at the end of July and beginning of August to make it as easy as possible for families to attend and get information and resources ahead of the upcoming school year.
This year’s locations and dates are as follows:
North Family Expo
Saturday, July 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Florida Memorial University

The Family Expo is a great opportunity for parents to learn of the wealth of resources and opportunities available to their children, including after-school and enrichment programs, nutrition education, injury prevention, programs for children with special needs, pre-K registration information and KidCare outreach.
