Grants

The Children’s Trust is a grant-making organization, but unlike private philanthropic foundations, we award grants differently in accordance with our legal obligations as a government entity.

Continuous Learning and Improvement

Funded programs have fiscal and programmatic reporting requirements tracked by The Children’s Trust. This includes a continuous learning and improvement framework to capture how our grantees support children and families in Miami-Dade. Our program metrics framework includes critical safety, administrative and fiscal compliance items, and key programmatic components, observed regularly. The goal is to collaborate with providers to identify strengths and needs, and develop an individualized plan for support, coaching, and continuous quality improvement.
