Comprehensive School Health
At The Children's Trust, we are committed to empowering the health and wellness journey of the children in our community. We understand the complexities involved and are here to support you using multiple strategies: school-based health, vision follow-up services, oral health training and preventive services, food and nutrition services, public benefits enrollment, and injury prevention education.
A collaborative partnership between The Children’s Trust, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the Florida Department of Health Miami-Dade enables six health care agencies to provide nursing, social work and mental health services in 145 health suites in 141 public elementary, K-8, middle and senior high schools.
